Born in England in 1990, Al-Masry made a major shift from his previous studies in criminology and sociology at Royal Holloway University. His first acting role was in a school play when he was 6 years old. He graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in 2013, then entered the field of professional acting in Egypt after many years later to  star  with comedian Mohamed Henedy in 2008. Shortly after, He was standing in front of international stars, such as Tom Hiddleston. And Hugh Laurie, making his way to become one of Hollywood's young stars.

Al-Masry mastered the role of Ramzi, the rich, spoiled son of the Minister of Education in the Egyptian comedy Ramadan Mabrouk Abu Al-Alamin Hamouda starring Henedy. Al-Masry caught the attention of the audience and won the “Best Young Actor” award at the Egyptian Academy Awards in 2009. In 2010, he appeared Once again in the role of the neglected university student Nabil, alongside the famous actress Yasmine Abdel Aziz in the movie “The Three Deceive Her”. Al-Masry was nominated for his role in Naqqash Khaled’s first feature film “In the Camera” (2023).

He is one of the ten contestants vying for the Best Supporting Performance award.

The film's hero, Nabhan Radwan, was also nominated for the Best Lead Performance Award at the BIFA Festival.

According to the film's synopsis, In Camera "follows Aden - played by Redouane - a young actor through a series of nightmarish auditions. After receiving rejection several times, Aden takes it upon

He appeared in Jon Stewart's first feature film Rosewater and several acclaimed television series before his breakout role in The Night Manager (2016), followed by Lost in London (2017) and The Country (2017). 2017), and Age Before Beauty (2018). In 2019, he landed a role in Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker, and a year later in Ben Sharrock's Limbo.

Al-Masry has been cast in the fifth season of Netflix's historical drama The Crown. He played the role of the young Egyptian billionaire Mohamed Al-Fayed.

Other notable credits include playing the lead in the first Saudi-American film, Arabian Warrior.

In 2023, Al-Masry appeared in two films - “Club Zero” by director Jessica Hausner, and “In Camera” by director Khaled Naqqash - proving his strong presence in international cinema and television.

The film premiered at the 57th Karlovy Vary Film Festival (June 30 - July 8, 2023).
